BRIEN CHIA
Coach Brien’s passion for athletics was ignited in 2017 at St. Joseph’s Institution under the guidance of Coach Fabian. The following year, he embraced the role of a junior coach at FWCC, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to mentoring and inspiring others. His unique path was further enriched by opportunities to work alongside esteemed physiotherapists at Movement Mechanics Physiotherapy Clinic—a partner of FWCC—which provided him with invaluable insights into movement, rehabilitation, and injury management.
Determined to broaden his expertise, Coach Brien has been fortunate to receive continuous guidance from Coach Fabian, not only in coaching techniques but also in the critical aspects of business development through the operations of FWCC. His commitment to lifelong learning is evident; he completed his WA Level 1 Coaching certification in 2024 and is set to pursue a degree in Physiotherapy at the Singapore Institute of Technology in 2025. By merging his coaching prowess with rehabilitative science, he aims to create a training environment that ensures athletes excel both on and off the track.
Coach Brien’s journey is a testament to the power of mentorship and the spirit of collaboration within the FWCC family. With Coach Fabian’s constant support and a united team that shares a common vision, he is well-equipped to guide athletes towards achieving their fullest potential.
Through his endeavours, Coach Brien exemplifies the ethos of FWCC—a commitment to excellence, unity, and the relentless pursuit of success.
