Joshua from ACS(I) began his track and field journey in Primary 3, finding his passion truly ignited after joining FWCC in 2017. Drawn to the thrill and excitement of running, he quickly dedicated himself to the sport, marking his journey with significant milestones.
Joshua’s competitive drive soared after securing second place in the 100m at LAWA 2023. Building on this momentum, he clinched the gold medal in the 100m at the 2024 National School Games (NSG)—a victory that validated years of hard work and dedication. Representing Singapore internationally in Hong Kong further enriched his experience and deepened his commitment to the sport.
One particularly inspiring moment came after recovering from a challenging six-month injury hiatus in Secondary 2. Surprising himself, Joshua achieved a sub-12-second timing in his comeback 100m race, reinforcing his dedication and passion for running.
Joshua continues to strive for excellence, driven by each success and setback alike, determined to make each step faster and every race memorable.
