“ Since joining FWCC, I have managed to achieve a personal best of 11.68s in the 100M sprint.
The FWCC trainings have always been extremely focused and well-organized. We are divided into groups based on the events we participate in and the type of workout that will best enhance our physical development. The workouts are varied weekly to ensure comprehensive training for endurance, speed, and technique.
During each training session, Coach Fabian designs unique workouts for the different groups. He believes that "no one athlete is the same as another and what works for one may not work for another." Consequently, he often tailors certain aspects of the workouts to better meet our individual needs. If he determines that a particular element of the workout will not benefit an athlete, or if the athlete is feeling fatigued, he will adjust the workout accordingly to ensure they receive the full benefits of the training plan. Before we begin our workouts, Coach Fabian always reviews his expectations and the main objectives with us.
The FWCC coaches are also well-equipped with video equipment, recording each of our runs. This allows them to analyse our form and technique and provide precise, constructive feedback on areas to improve or replicate in future runs.
Furthermore, the FWCC coaches demonstrate incredible patience with the athletes. When correcting our running technique or explaining running principles, they do so clearly and comprehensively, ensuring the athletes understand. The coaches also show their dedication by staying until every athlete has departed and by continuously monitoring us during the entire training session to prevent overexertion and injuries.
Since joining the club, my technique has significantly improved, both in my blocks and overall running form. I had struggled for several seasons to improve these areas, but only under their training have I been able to make substantial progress.
Overall, Coach Fabian and the entire coaching staff's commitment, perseverance, and hard work have heightened my enthusiasm for the sport and my eagerness to attend training sessions. I am grateful for all the support and opportunities provided by FWCC, and I am extremely satisfied with my overall training experience. “
