“ My journey into duathlon and multisport began during the Covid-19 lockdown, where running became a daily regimen that gradually evolved into a passion for both running and cycling. By early 2023, I ventured into competitive multisport, initially exploring triathlons before focusing on duathlons, where my affinity for running and cycling flourished.

In December 2023, during the Standard Chartered 10KM road run, I achieved a personal best of 42:10, catching the attention of Coach Fabian. Already established as a national duathlete for 10 months, I seized the opportunity to join FWCC under Coach Fabian's guidance to further my ambitions.

Since joining FWCC four months ago, I've experienced tremendous growth and integration into a supportive team environment. The camaraderie among like-minded athletes at FWCC has been invaluable, providing motivation and mutual support in our pursuit of excellence.

The coaching at FWCC, led by Coach Fabian together with all the other coaches, have been instrumental in my development. Their meticulous training plans, tailored to individual athlete needs and accessible through detailed Google Sheets for both our respective event groups and one speciallized for each athlete, have been key in refining my technique and enhancing my performance. Regular feedback sessions with Coach Fabian after my training sessions have played a role in alllowing for adjustments in training plans and ensuring optimal preparation for my competitions.

Under FWCC's guidance, I've seen significant improvements in my running mechanics and race times, particularly in duathlon events. The emphasis on form, speed sessions, and mobility drills has enhanced my overall athletic ability, reflecting in stronger performances and personal bests.

Looking ahead, I aspire to compete on larger international stages such as the Sea Games and transition into Ironman competitions as well as marathons in the coming years. These aspirations underscore my dedication to continuous improvement and achieving peak performance with FWCC's support.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of FWCC—a team distinguished by its dedicated coaching staff, supportive teammates, and comprehensive resources.
